What are Vulgate summer programs?
Vulgate programs are impactful, short summer programs at K-12 schools abroad, focusing on English language immersion and a deepening of the students’ Catholic awareness.
How Vulgate Summer Programs Work
Vulgate connects talented young people from the U.S. with K-12 Catholic schools in Southern Europe. Instructors volunteer for several weeks in the summer, receive funding for travel & living expenses and access to an authentically Catholic curriculum for the English immersion classes.

Dates
Saturday, June 20 - Saturday, July 25, 2026. Note, in some cases, programs may start up to 2 weeks earlier & end at the same time.
Locations
Current openings are in Lisbon, Portugal.

Who is the ideal Vulgate teacher?
Vulgate teachers have the following qualities:
Current U.S. college student or recent college graduate (18+ years old).
Strong interpersonal skills, able to engage and inspire students.
Love their Catholic Faith and are excited to share it with young people.
Resilient and ready to embrace new challenges.
Eager to travel and teach in Europe for a month.
