These materials will be shared with potential K-12 Catholic schools who are responsible for selecting teachers from among candidates. Please take this next step very seriously, as it will be heavily weighted as part of the selection process.
Video Recording Instructions:
Record a 1 minute (60 second) video introducing yourself and sharing why you would like to teach at an authentically Catholic school.
Record the video on your phone or computer horizontally and ensure it is on a stable base, not in your hand, while recording.
Dress professionally and maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance to present yourself with confidence and credibility.
Ensure your background is clean, uncluttered, and professional. For example, a simple wall, a well-organized bookshelf, or tasteful artwork can create a polished look—avoid having your bed or personal clutter in view.
Ensure there is no background noise and that the viewer can hear you speak clearly.
Have excellent, bright lighting on your face and avoid backlighting.
Be professional and positive in your demeanor.
Speak slowly & naturally; avoid saying "umm" or "like.”
